The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and China signed a mutual visa waiver agreement allowing their citizens a 30-day visa-free visit in both countries, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

Under the realization of the agreements reached between the heads of state of Uzbekistan and China, together with my colleague we signed the agreement allowing our citizens to travel in both countries without a visa for up to 30 days, stated Uzbekistan's foreign minister Bakhtiyor SAIDOV.

He went on to add that this is another step towards more intensive exchanges, greater trade and ties between nationals of the countries.

To note, Kazakhstan and China signed a visa free agreement last year.
