A construction of 32 multi-storey residential buildings is underway in Petropavlovsk, with 20 of these being privately funded, Kazinform News Agency has learned from the akimat of the North Kazakhstan region.
Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, Gauez NURMUKHAMBETOV, inspected the construction of residential buildings in the Kopay microdistrict. Seven multi-storey buildings comprising 605 flats, which are for individuals on waiting lists for social housing, are currently under construction. Four multi-storey buildings are nearing completion, with engineering communications also being installed.
“A total of 27 multi-storey buildings comprising 3,800 flats will be constructed in this microdistrict. In addition, social facilities, including a school, kindergarten and medical center, will be provided. The new neighborhood will offer comfortable living instead of the old and dilapidated houses,” the akim stated.
