17 billion tenge will be allocated this year to support businesses to develop and expand agro-industrial projects, Kazinform News Agency reports.

A special commission was set up at the entrepreneurs’ chamber of Kostanay region. Last year the commission approved financing of three projects worth 3.4 billion tenge. Among the developed projects are the irrigation projects in Mailin and Amangeldy districts and the construction of a commercial dairy farm in Mendikara district, the press service of the entrepreneurs’ chamber said.
Notably, Kostanay region attracted almost 1 billion tenge worth of foreign investments in the past two years, leading to the creation of over 1,000 jobs.
