After all, the country’s image affects its economic opportunities. Experts discussed how to increase the effectiveness of the image, focusing on national identity and originality.
“I am an entrepreneur. And as an entrepreneur, I understand that the country brand of Kazakhstan has impact on my business as well. When I start exporting my products to some countries, it is very important for those countries to know what country I came from. That is why we raise this issue today with our colleagues from the creative industry, entrepreneurs, those who succeed to build the country’s DNA in their business corporate brands, with representatives of state bodies. An international competition ‘Global Nomads Fashion Awards’ is also being held as part of the forum. It will let novice fashion designers to gain recognition and find investors. More than 3,000 applications were received for the contest in total. About 300 works of Kazakh and foreign designers were selected, the top five will be awarded. The organizers assured that the winners will have a chance to work with leading companies in tourism and culture fields. The bright works that reflect the spirit of nomads will also help to develop a recognizable national code of Kazakhstan in foreign markets inclusively.
