
The Ministry and Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation develop 12 projects and programs to provide people with orphan, cancer, and hemato-oncological diseases with expensive drugs
Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation CEO Bolat Zhamishev met with University Medical Center Corporate Fund CEO Yuri Pya to discuss ways to improve the quality of medical assistance to children with orphan diseases at the Healthcare Ministry, Kazinform learnt from the Ministry’s press service.
The Ministry and Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation develop 12 projects and programs to provide people with orphan, cancer, and hemato-oncological diseases with expensive drugs, to develop cancer treatment centres, children’s neurosurgery services, transplantation services, infrastructure, rehabilitation centres, etc.
Kazakh Healthcare Minister Akmaral Alnazarova highlighted the significance of the integrated complex approach to the treatment of orphan diseases in children at the grounds of the University Medical Center together with the Scientific Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery Centre and Aksai University Children’s Clinic.
Following the meeting, those present agreed to build an orphan centre in Kazakhstan to improve access to expensive medical treatment and drugs.
